best of both worlds . . .

Love so many things happening on the farm, and elsewhere! Asher, and a new FOUTFOLK FARM friend spent a few hours butchering a goat the other day. It was a great experience for him to process another animal and help create a business here at the farm.

And last week I took a few of my people to the BEST amusement park in the world! Cedar Point. Since they had not been to a park like that before, it was hard to get used to the crazy rides.
Nolan, Cail and I spent most of the day riding the LARGE, FAST rides like this one.

Even though it is nice to go to the city, and do the park things once in awhile, it is still great to come home to the quite, peaceful farm. It's like we have the best of both worlds.

Sometimes it's nice to go away for a bit of an adventure but it's always so nice to come home. That's the way I feel too. Nancy

How is everyone at your house? Haven't heard from your blog for a long time. Just wondering :)

Thanks for inquiring! We are all well...just working around the farm getting ready for winter...again! :) Life seems to go a little faster now that we are all getting older :) I have some photos of some things I invented and need to get them up on here soon. All well in your place?

Glad to hear from you again as I saw your most recent post today. Love the sock, undie drying wheel. We too are finishing up fall chores on our acerage. I have yet to pull the tomato, pepper plants and wanted to do that today but it is drizzly so will put that off for another day. Got the broilers butchered on Saturday so that is done too :) One day at a time. A family gathering coming up on Sunday for a grandson's baptism so I am getting things together for that as we have the gatherings at our house. More room and more fun at grandma and grandpa's house as the kids live in town and we are in the country :)
